Los Angeles Wedding Musician
I love my job as a Los Angeles wedding musician! Playing at beautiful venues like the Westlake Village Inn is such a privilege for me. Today, Brittany, a wonderful violinist, joined me for the ceremony and cocktail hour. She played well and we complimented one another’s playing style quite well.
Bordering the Westlake Village Golf Course is the charming Tuscan Garden at the Westlake Village Inn Hotel, a perfect spot for a wedding ceremony! The wrought iron gazebo makes for a gorgeous ceremony spot, where guests turn around to see the bride walk out from underneath the floral arch way. The generous greenery juxtaposed with the lakes and nearby hills creates such a pleasant panoramic view.
Alex and Collin were such a fun couple. They came over to my home nearby where we spent some time connecting and selecting their music. On the day of the wedding, Collin affectionately mentioned how “hot” his teacher wife was, which made for a fun, playful moment in the ceremony. Have I mentioned how much I love my job as a LA wedding musician?
Prelude songs include “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (their song) and “Love Story” by Taylor Swift. For the bridal party, we played “Marry Me” by Train and “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars for the Bridal march. It was a Bruno Mars sort of day, so we played “Marry You” for the recessional. From there, we moved over to the Provence Room for the cocktail hour. Such a fun day!
